Rangers are mental.
Decent manager sacked.

I know it says resigned but Warburton and his staff deny it.

I've got some Warburtons in as it happens. Only got it because they do half-loaves but I'm usually a Roberts man.

Warburton was his MOTHER'S PRIDE and was just trying to earn a CRUST, as he KNEADED the DOUGH but the BOARD thought he was too ill BREAD, and didn't know which side his BREAD was BUTTERED, and now he is TOAST

Now that's got them out of the way.

I think it's very funny. Never jump until you're certain you have a safe place to land. Hubris. Hope he doesn't still get the Forest job.

Clearly an iffy character this Warburton geezer. Aren't you supposed to achieve something before acting Billy big bollocks?

But he didn't actually hand his resignation in. Rangers board were desperate to get rid of him without having to pay him off. League Managers Association have advised him to turn up as normal for training.

Re: Rangers are mental.
As I understand it if Warburton left early Rangers were entitled to compensation of maybe £700k.
He and his team approached the board and negotiated that if they left Rangers would waive the compensation.
He then spoke to Forest and didn't get the job.
Then came back and said I have changed my mind I want to stay
Rangers stuck their fingers in their ears shouting LA LA LA LA LA while continuing to fill out his P45.

That about right?
